How much does a new deck or repair cost?
Deck repair starts at $1,500. New decks and full replacements most often land between $9,000 and $20,000, depending on size, material, and scope. Every project gets a free, written estimate — final price depends on your specific deck.
How long does a deck project take?
It depends on the scope and the permit timeline for your county. Breno gives you a real date range after the on-site visit, not a guess over the phone.
Composite or pressure-treated wood — which should I pick?
Pressure-treated costs less upfront and needs periodic staining/sealing to hold up. Composite costs more upfront and needs very little upkeep. Both are things we build — happy to walk through the trade-off for your yard and budget.
Do I need a permit or HOA approval?
It depends on your county and neighborhood. Tell us your address and we'll tell you exactly what's required before any work is scheduled.
My deck isn't falling apart, just old — can you repair it instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. Loose boards, a wobbly rail, or a soft spot don't always mean a full rebuild. We'll give you the honest repair-vs-replace call, not the more expensive one by default.
Do you build stairs and railings, including cable rail?
Yes — stairs and railings (including cable rail) are part of every build and repair, not a separate add-on quote.
Do you build pergolas or covered decks?
Yes — pergolas and deck covers are something we build too. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll include it in your free written estimate.
