What we collect

Why

To reply to your estimate request, and to know which ads and parts of this page actually help people reach us.

Google and Meta

This page uses Google Ads, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. They use cookies to measure ad results and may show you B&T ads later on other sites (remarketing). When you send the form, a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email or phone may be shared with Google to match the ad that brought you here. You can limit this in your Google ad settings and Meta ad preferences, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Clicking Decline in the cookie banner (or "Cookie settings" in the footer) turns off Google's and Meta's ad and analytics cookies and personalized-advertising features on this page. Once your Decline is saved, the deck pages on this site never load Google's or Meta's measurement scripts again — with two exceptions: the few seconds right after you first arrive on any page and before you've made a choice, when Google's and Meta's tags can already be running (Google says it may still receive basic, cookie-less signals from that brief window, see Google's own documentation); and the order-confirmation page you land on after sending the form, which always loads Google's and Meta's scripts (so we can confirm your inquiry reached us) but tells both a consent-denied state when a Decline is stored, instead of the normal cookie-based one — the cookie-less signal described above is specific to how Google's Consent Mode works; we don't have a published source describing Meta's exact mechanism for a denied Pixel, only that it stops setting cookies and personalizing ads. Our own basic usage tracking described in "How the page is used" (page views, scrolling, clicks — never what you type) is separate from Google/Meta and keeps running either way, so we can reply to you and see which parts of the page actually help.

When you send the form

Separately from the cookies above, whenever you submit the estimate form our server sends Meta a hashed (scrambled) copy of your phone and email — plus your IP address and browser identifier, not hashed — so Meta can match the inquiry to the ad that brought you here (Meta calls this the Conversions API, a server-to-server version of the same ad measurement the Meta Pixel cookie does in your browser). This one only happens if you actually send us the form — browsing the page without submitting doesn't trigger it — and because it's sent directly from our server rather than through your browser, clicking Decline in the cookie banner does not stop it: we currently don't have a way to selectively skip it per submission. Your Meta ad preferences control how Meta itself is allowed to use this for ads. If you'd rather we not send it for your inquiry, email breno@btprecast.com before submitting the form and we'll handle your project by phone/email instead of the online form.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information to third parties for their own use. The technical ad-matching data described above (a hashed copy of your email/phone shared with Google, when you send the form) is us paying Google to measure our own ads, not a sale — everything we collect is used only to reply to you about your project and to see which ads and page sections actually bring in real inquiries.

Deleting your information

Email breno@btprecast.com and we will delete our own copy of the details you sent us. Data already shared with Google or Meta as described above follows their own retention and deletion rules, not something we control — use your Google ad settings or Meta ad preferences for that.
